Jonas Wagner was born in 1988 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, and found his way to painting in 2019.

In 2006 he began his career as a photographer at Manfred Rieker’s well-known studio in Stuttgart and Porto Heli, Greece. Later he worked as an assistant for various photographers in Stuttgart and Frankfurt am Main. Since 2012 he has been working in a design agency as an Art Director.

Museums and works of art have fascinated him since early childhood. In 2018 he was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, a diagnosis that brought him considerable relief. He is now based in Rosbach vor der Höhe, Germany, and Viana do Castelo, Portugal.
